Ginny & Georgia fans will no doubt have stayed up to watch the drop of season two on Netflix. The ten new episodes landed on January 5th, and already viewers have some strong opinions about some of the characters, Georgia, in particular. Specifically that Brianne Howey, who plays the mum of two, stole the show.
Taking to Twitter to share their thoughts, one fan wrote: "It's been only 1 min and she already ate the show #ginnyandgeorgia," as another said: "I missed my girl so bad #ginnyandgeorgia."
Another jokingly said: "Georgia could kill the whole cast and I’d defend her. That's my wife fr #ginnyandgeorgia," as a further fan typed: "Georgia Miller the only reason why I'll be watching Ginny and Georgia s2."
To recap, season one saw Georgia move to Wellsbury, Massachusetts with her two kids, Ginny and Austin following the death of her husband, Kenny. While at first it may have appeared that she wanted to start a new life with her children, it wasn't all plain sailing as the series went on.
In fact, it turned out that Georgia killed her husband after she saw him getting a little too up-close-and-personal with Ginny. Slipping a deadly poison into his morning smoothie, Kenny ended up crashing his car and meeting his end.
Upon finding out about her mother's actions, Ginny left Wellsbury with Austin, which was obviously the catalyst for season two. Despite this major drama, it's Georgia's personality, survival attitude and the fact that she'd do anything for her kids that sway fans in her favour.
"GINNY AND GEORGIA S2 TODAY WOAAAAHH MY MOTHER IS BACK," one fan wrote, as another said: "GEORGIA MILLER IS AN ICON #ginnyandgeorgia."
