Gigi Hadid Just Proved That Vests Are the New Blazers

As soon as the temperatures drop and the unpredictable weather kicks in, I immediately roll out my jackets. Whether it be an oversized blazer or my dad’s bomber, it’s officially outwear season. But if there’s one It girl to convince me otherwise, it’s Gigi Hadid and her latest off-duty look that's inspiring me to go totally sleeveless all season long.
Shortly after touching down at Milan Fashion Week in the ultimate French-girl staple, the model arrived at the Max Mara womenswear SS24 fashion show sporting a lesson in yet another steal-wealth look. Opting for a cream vest top with the lower half left unbuttoned, the model teamed her sleeveless blazer with a pair of matching high-waisted relaxed trousers while tastefully offering a peek at her midsection. At one point, she layered her vest with a coordinating cashmere cardigan, while a pair of white patent leather loafers, a teeny-tiny handbag, and a dainty diamond necklace added the finishing luxe touches.

As for her glam, she teamed her glowing complexion with smoky eyes and an ultra-glossy lip, and she styled her waist-length blonde hair in a middle part with tousled beach waves.

This isn't the only time that Gigi has offered the perfect fashion inpso for those in a rut. Last month, she gave her stamp of approval to loafers during a girls' night out. Hitting the town with her closest girlfriends, Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner, the model opted for comfort in a pair of trusty black leather loafers with medium-wash low-rise mom jeans. Adding a touch of edginess to her low-key 'fit, she sported a leather crop top featuring slinky spaghetti straps and a quirky pattern of turquoise blue fish.
