During a candid chat with ‘The Breakfast Club’ in 2015, singer and former ‘American Idol’ contestant Jordin Sparks, talked about a past ghost: fellow musician Jason Derulo, whom she dated for three years. Sparks recalled how their relationship became awkward. She said: "We had an argument or this little tiff or whatever. I was like, 'Okay, I'm sorry, I apologize.’ I asked him if we were good, and he said, 'Yeah, we're good.' But he helped me with my bag to the car, he kissed me, told me he loved me, then stopped calling me!"

‘The One That Got Away’ singer Katy Perry’s relationship with British comedian Russell Brand will never be forgotten. The pair began dating after they attended the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards in September. They got engaged on New Year's Eve 2009 during a holiday in India and married in the country in October 2010 in a Hindu ceremony, near the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan. But in December 2011, Russell asked Katy for a divorce in a text message. In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Katy was asked about it and she said: "He hasn't spoken to me since he texted me saying he was filing for divorce."

'Batman Begins’ actor Christian Bale went on a date with ’Never Been Kissed’ actress Drew Barrymore, but things between them did not go as planned. In an interview with GQ Australia, Bale told the story, revealing: “We went to see some bloody awful horror film, and that was the end of it. She never called again."

Country music star Keith Urban and Australian actress Nicole Kidman share one of the strongest marriages in showbiz, but at some point, he was just not that into her. In an interview on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', Kidman revealed that he disappeared for a few months after they met. She said: “I had such a crush on him and he wasn’t interested in me. It’s true! He didn’t call me for four months."

These two stars are currently married and share two children, son Otis and daughter Daisy. However, the beginning of their relationship was a bit rocky. In an appearance on Howard Stern’s infamous radio show, the ‘TRON: Legacy’ actress recalled how it was. She said: "He played it really cool … When he got my number, he didn't text me for a month.” Olivia took his silence in good humor even asked friends they shared in common if Jason had passed away.

In a 2015 interview with ‘Girl Code Live’, Lovato revealed to their fans that they had ghosted a guy at some point. While Demi's reasons are still a secret, the pop star explained: “Sometimes people don't take the hint. After saying, 'Hmm, I'm not really into it, please leave me alone, stop Skyping me every time I turn my computer on.”

We loved to see our dear RiRi right next to rapper Drake, but shortly after a love story between these pop stars started, it dissolved. The Canadian rapper talked about it during a chat with The New York Times. He said: “You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, 'Wow, this feels terrible.'"

When they started dating the ‘Milk’ star and the ‘Bombshell’ actress were one of the biggest A-list couplings around, that was until Charlize disappeared. According to Us Weekly, Charlize “was not responding to his calls and texts. She just cut it off". What is surprising about this ghosting case, is that the pair were engaged.

The queen of ghosting is definitely ‘Love Life’ star Anna Kendrick. In a hilarious interview with Buzzfeed, the Portland, Maine, native proudly owned up her status of someone who tends to disappear from other people’s lives. She said: "I ghost everybody all the time. I’m the queen of the French exit. None of you will ever hear from me again."

In an appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ singer Kelly Clarkson recalled the time she disappeared from a date’s map, starting with abandoning him mid-date. She said: "I think it’s the funniest thing ever. To a point. Then it gets real mean to yourself. I’m going straight to hell, I’m aware. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever done.”
