Irish actor James Nesbitt underwent several hair procedures, initially as a "vanity" issue. However, in 2017 he told the Radio Times that it also affected his career positively. He said: “In terms of the range of leading roles I've had since then, it's probably helped."

Retired soccer star and current Derby County manager Wayne Rooney went public about his own hair transplant decision on Twitter, and revealed he was "going bald at 25". Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean previously took to Instagram to reveal he had undergone hair transplants, and shared some before and after pics. Joey himself confirmed the news in a Bosley infomercial, and opened up on the pressures of being a live entertainer. The hair restoration firm released a statement where Fatone explained: “Performing in front of a live audience can be pretty intimidating, so having a full head of hair was important to me."

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay underwent hair implant treatments in Beverly Hills, when he was spotted leaving a clinic "wearing a black surgical cap around his head". The publication added that the star had an allergic reaction to the procedure, as he was seen with a swollen face.

‘American Horror Story’ actor Cheyenne Jackson posted a picture on Instagram last year, showing off a scar on his head. He captioned the snap: “No, this gnarly scar across my head isn’t from life-saving brain surgery, nor did I narrowly survive a shark attack. "It’s worse. I had hair transplant surgery. 5 of them, to be exact over 14 years."

"Well, if you live in Los Angeles for long enough you’re going to get some surgery. I’ve had a thatch done and I didn’t even need it. That’s the weirdest thing. I had three months off and got bored."
