Geri Horner shares a rare photo of her mum and she looks just like a Hollywood actress
Former Spice Girl Geri Horner has shared a photo of her mother Ana with her 1.1million Instagram followers to celebrate her birthday.
The singer shared two snaps, one recent picture where the pair are smiling and both holding a pooch, and one taken during Geri’s time with the Spice Girls.
Geri captioned the post “Happy birthday Mama. We love you! Thank you for being a wonderful, strong and caring mother and grandmother figure in our lives.”
Fans were quick to like and comment on the post, sending their birthday well wishes to Ana, including one who likening her to a very famous Hollywood actress and saying, “Is that Meryl Streep?”
The comment prompted other fans to agree, with many saying, “That’s exactly what I thought!”
Geri has a very close relationship with her Spanish mother and Ana has been a constant source of help and support during Geri’s own experiences of becoming a mum. The star is mum to Bluebell, 15, who is her daughter with Sacha Gervasi and Monty, four, who is her son with husband Christian Horner.
In an interview with The Times last year, Geri said, “My children have given me so much joy. But they have challenged me as well, having a 14-year-old daughter… I can't even say in case she kills me! I'm very mindful that the teenage years are a period where support and sensitivity is needed."
She continued, “Monty is delicious and funny and extremely high-energy, so the physicality of that has been very different to bringing up a girl.”
