As a Love Island contestant, there are probably a lot of things you don't want your parents to see - but one particular episode that springs to mind is the heart rate challenge. Just look at Gemma Owen's famous dad Michael Owen, who shared his fairly telling reaction over on Twitter.

Casa Amor aside, OG Love Island fans will know there are a few stand out villa highlights to look forward to. One, the baby challenge. And two? The heart rate challenge, which sees the contestants attempt to raise each other's heart rates the most with, er, some fairly steamy dancing.

While Curtis Pritchard's salsa will forever be etched on our brains, it was 19-year-old Gemma Owen who stole the show for the boys last night, after successfully raising the most heart rates - including ex-boyfriend Jacques O'Neill's.

Partner Luca Bish and bombshell Jay Younger's heart rates were also raised the most by Gemma, and her dad Michael later took to social media to share his thoughts on the whole thing.

He simply shared the 'hands covering eyes' emoji, in a tweet that has since had over 6,000 retweets and 6,000 favourites.

Earlier this week, dumped islander Ikenna Ekwonna revealed on Aftersun that the islanders already know about Gemma's famous dad, who was a football player for Manchester United and England back in the 200s.

"We didn’t really know until like the second or third day," Ikenna explained. "I don’t think the girls knew, like the guys knew."

Afia Tonkmor added during an Instagram Q&A, "If people do know, I did know before I went in because I watched her VT. But if people do know, they don’t care… nobody really cares."

So there you go.
