Home improvement retailer, Wickes, has launched a stylish outdoor build-your-own garden bar set for £350, following on from its success last year.

Looking to entertain your household in style? Then search no further, as Wickes' garden bar is the perfect lockdown DIY project that will bring the holiday scene to your garden this summer.

The garden bar is constructed from timber and inside the kit, you will find a 25mm deckboard for the walls, featheredge for the roof, and deckboards for the fascias and the shelves. It's worth knowing that you will need some basic DIY skills to assemble it, plus your own tools and fixings.

A full step-by-step guide will be included in the kit, however, you can also find a handy video online to help you assemble it.

The team at Wickes explain: "The Build Your Own Garden Bar kit from Wickes is back for another year, making it easy for avid DIY-ers to create the ultimate entertaining space this summer - once the weather hopefully improves! Perfect for cocktails enjoying a relaxing glass of fizz at the end of a long day or even as an ice cream bar for the whole family to enjoy, this is the perfect addition to your garden."

The assembled structure will measure 1.76 x 1.18 x 2.4m at the tallest point of the roof, so ensure you place it somewhere carefully with plenty of room (choose a space that will allow at least 2ft of surrounding space around your bar). It is also very heavy and can't be moved easily once it is constructed.

You can order the garden bar online for £350, plus any additional essentials you may need to build it. All we need now is some sunshine...
