It seems that unifying in song is helping people through this difficult time. From Italian balcony sing-alongs to virtual concerts, coming together through music is uplifting - reminding us that we're in this together even though we're physically separated. Now, a selection of celebrities have joined forces to share a feel-good message for those who might be feeling overwhelmed during the coronavirus pandemic.
Gal Gadot rounded up some of her celebrity friends, sharing a video of them each singing a line from "Imagine" by John Lennon.
"These past few days got me feeling a bit philosophical," she said on Instagram, noting that it was her sixth day in self-isolation. "This virus has affected the entire world. Everyone. It doesn't matter who you are, where you're from. We're all in this together."
The actress explained how she too had seen an uplifting video circulating on social media of an Italian man on his balcony, playing the trumpet for all his neighbours to hear while in quarantine.
Gadot goes on to say: "He was playing 'Imagine', there was something so powerful and pure about this video and it goes like this."
She then sings the first line of Lennon's iconic song, which is followed by countless celebrities including Kristen Wiig, Jimmy Fallon, Natalie Portman, Zoë Kravitz, Amy Adams, Will Ferrell, Mark Ruffalo, Ashley Benson, Kaia Gerber, Cara Delevingne and Maya Rudolph, to name but a few.
The heart-warming video serves as a reminder that we can find strength together even when we need to stay apart.
