Forget #fitspo, the best way to get motivated these days is with a fitness tracker. The good news is, Fitbits are currently almost half off in the Amazon Prime Day sale.

The bad news is, you’ve no longer got an excuse to skip that lunchtime walk because this nifty little watch is bossy AF (it literally buzzes when you’re sat down for too long).

In case you didn’t know already, fitness trackers are your body’s best friend. They track your sleep and step count, as well as monitoring your heart rate to get you in the right zone for burning the maximum amount of calories – to make that gym sesh really count.

The Fitbit Versa 2, which is discounted for Prime Day, will even track your swimming laps, your menstrual cycle, sync up to your Spotify, take voice commands and connect to FitBit Pay to enable contactless payments.

The Prime Day discounts kicked off today and last until midnight tomorrow. You will need an Amazon Prime account to access these deals – but if you don’t feel like splashing out the annual £79 fee (it’s less for students, FYI), then you can sign up for a free trial today and simply cancel in 30 days time. Clever, eh?

Anyway, enough of the technicalities and on to the goodies:

Fitbit Versa 2

The Fitbit Versa 2 dropped back in 2019 and this is probably the cheapest we've seen it, down from £199.99 to £119.99.

This genius tool now comes with voice control technology and an in-built Alexa system. Life just got a hell of a lot easier, are we right?

Fitbit Charge 4

If you're not fussed about the big screen, the next best thing you can buy is the Fitbit Charge 4. This clever tool tracks all activity, not just steps and exercise, so it'll even log your cleaning or car washing sessions (just to let you know if you've really put your back into it).

That's not all, obvs. This was the first Fitbit to track Active Zone minutes using your age info and heart rate, so you can really hone in on the intensity of your workouts and making sure you're hitting those goals.

And, just like the Versa 2, this Fitbit provides details feedback on your sleep. You can see the quality of each night’s snooze sesh by measuring heart rate, time asleep, time awake, time in deep and REM sleep and restlessness.

Fitbit Inspire 2

If you want to keep things simple, or just don't like the big watch face on the fancier versions, go for the Fitbit Inspire. You'll also save a tonne of money.

This baby tracks your steps, calories burn, fitness activities, sleep and keep you moving with those all important movement reminders.

It's currently reduced from £89.99 to just £64.99 and it comes with an entire year of Fitbit Premium for free. This alone is worth the money, we reckon, since the platform (packed with exercise programmes, meditation and motivational guides, as well as nutrition plans) usually costs £7.99 per month.

Obvs there’s loads of other stuff to snag in the promotional period, such as makeup and skincare, hairdryers, headphones and loads of great tech like TVs and laptops. See all the best deals here:
