Fran Drescher tapped to front Laura Geller Beauty campaign

Fran Drescher has been recruited to star in a new campaign for Laura Geller Beauty.

While The Nanny actress is well known for her eclectic sense of style and flawless complexion, her upcoming partnership with the cosmetics brand will mark her first-ever beauty gig.

To begin, Drescher has been tapped to be the face of Laura Geller Beauty's Spackle primer collection.

"I never thought I'd get my first-ever beauty contract in my 60s," she smiled. "I'm thrilled to be the face of a foolproof product that everybody's loved for years. Spackle primer is my set-it-and-forget-it solution."

Drescher also noted that she is proud to be working with a company that is exclusively using models over the age of 40.

While a full campaign is yet to be unveiled, a series of videos posted online see her discussing her everyday beauty regime.

"This feels so silky smooth on my skin, I absolutely love it. Compared to other primers, it actually has antioxidant botanical properties that not only hydrate but brighten the skin. Plus, it keeps my make-up looking bright and beautiful all day long. I'm telling you ladies, it's an incredible product," the 63-year-old praised in one of the clips.

And veteran make-up artist and brand founder Laura Geller couldn't be more excited to have Drescher onboard.

"Our goal is to celebrate all women and remind them that they are beautiful and vibrant at every phase of life," added Geller.
