Former Love Island star Malin Andersson has taken to Instagram to open up about her experience domestic violence.
The 27-year-old shared a graphic photo that shows two open cuts on her right cheek, which she alleges were inflicted by a former partner.

The caption read: ‘“It’s only a scratch.” “It’s hardly anything.” “He won’t do it again.” This was my Valentines last year.'
‘This year I choose self-love. I choose my worth. I choose to put me first. I choose happiness. I choose me.’
Anderson, who previously referenced domestic violence on her Instagram by posting images of her bruises, continued: ‘Don’t worry about Valentines Day if you’re alone. I know I would rather be alone then back where I was.’
As for her final plea? ‘I urge you all, if you’re experiencing domestic abuse to please know that you are worth everything and more. The best love you can give; is to yourself. @refugecharity @womens_aid.
Fellow Love Island star Tyla Carr was quick to respond with message of support, saying:
‘This is a close to home subject xx speak as loud as you can, with a voice that many dont have the confidence to do themselves because even if you don't change someone's situation, you 100% make them feel like their not alone’
Whilst fans praised Andersson's honesty. One wrote: ‘You are so brave lovely to share your battles with people take my hat off to you x’.
‘You are the strongest person I know, I’m so sorry you’ve been though this! You are beautiful inside and out’.
