Anthony Bourdain
Celebrity chef and TV host Anthony Bourdain passed away on June 8, 2018, at the age of 61. He was in Strasbourg filming an episode of his show ‘Parts Unknown’. Long-time friend and collaborator Éric Ripert was with him at the time. In fact, he was the one who expressed concern following Bourdain’s sudden disappearance after missing dinner and breakfast. His unalive body was found in his hotel room. - 3/11
Col Bruce Hampton
Col. Bruce Hampton - known as the "grandfather of the jam band scene" and a direct influence on bands like the Grateful Dead and Phish -collapsed and died of a heart attack during a jam at an all-star concert held in honor of his 70th birthday at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 1, 2017. Before his death, Hampton had often joked to friends and journalists that he would prefer to die onstage if given the choice if he could choose how he passed. - 4/11
Tyrone Power
American actor Tyrone Power passed away on November 15, 1958, in Madrid, Spain. He was only 44. Always committed to his busy acting schedule, Power travelled to the European country to film his movie ‘Solomon and Sheba’. After filming nearly 75 per cent of his scenes, the film star lost his life following a terrible heart attack he suffered on the set. - 5/11
Roy Kinnear
Boasting a career with nearly 90 movie credits, which included The Beatles' 'Help!', 'The Three Musketeers' and 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory', British actor Roy Kinnear proved he was totally committed to his art. On September 19, 1988, Kinnear fell from a horse while filming ‘The Return of the Musketeers’ in Toledo, Spain. He passed away hours later from a heart attack, and while it was a tragic loss, he said goodbye doing what he did best. He was 54. - 6/11
Paul Walker
Paul Walker’s passing has been one of the most tragic ones in Hollywood. On November 30, 2013, Walker, a car and speed enthusiasts with a collection of at least 30 cars, left a charity event along with Roger Rodas, who was driving his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. The ‘Fast and Furious’ star and his friend had a terrible accident that ended up taking their lives. Walker was 40 years old. - 7/11

Apart from his acting passion, the actor known for the film ‘Paris, je t'aime’ used to ski regularly. Sadly, he passed away on January 19, 2022, following a terrible skiing accident one day before in France’s Savoie region. According to French magazine Paris Match, he arrived brain d*ad to the hospital. His last project was Marvel Universe’s series ‘Moon Knight’, which premiered two months after his passing. - 8/11

Racing driver Dale Earnhardt built an impressive career in NASCAR, making it to big events including the Early Winston Cup. A terrible accident, however, took his life at the age of 49. During the final lap of the Daytona 500 race on February 18, 2001, Dale’s car got involved in a three-car crash, which resulted in a skull fracture. - 9/11

Acclaimed and revered British comedian Tommy Cooper left an impressive legacy in the entertainment world with his stand-up routines still replayed and applauded now. During a live performance, which took place on April 15, 1984, on ‘Live from Her Majesty's‘, Cooper had a heart attack in front if millions of viewers and a live audience, who initially thought it was part of his routine. He was 63. In 2008, Sir Anthony Hopkins - a huge fan of the comic - unveiled a Cooper statue in his hometown, Caerphilly, Wales. - 10/11

Singer Christina Grimmie, passed away on June 10, 2016, at the age of 22 years, doing something she loved which was getting to know her fans. During an event where she was signing autographs at the Plaza Theater in Orlando, Florida, Christina was attacked by a young man named Kevin James Loibl and lost her life. She was just 22. - 11/11
Steve Irwin
The wildlife expert and conservationist, known as “The Crocodile Hunter”, sadly passed away after a fatal animal attack. In 2006, while filming a documentary close to Port Douglas, Queensland, in Australia, Steve Irwin was pierced in the chest by a stingray barb. The horrible incident was documented in video, and according to official reports, the stingray pierced his lung and heart, resulting in his almost immediate passing. He was 44.
