Flowers have been left at the scene of a fatal crash near Attleborough.

A woman in her 60s died after a crash on Monday (September 25) in Silver Street, near the junction with School Lane in Besthorpe.

The passenger, a woman in her 60s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and later died as a result of her injuries.

The driver, a man in his 80s, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.

He was taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning but has since been released under investigation.
