Five fun and frugal ways to feed the kids at Westquay this Easter
SCHOOL's out and the kids can't wait for some Easter holiday fun.
But, for parents, it's a tricky juggling act between finding ways to enjoy yourselves without breaking the bank.
Here's our guide to five fun and frugal ways to eat out in our very own shopping centre, Westquay.
At Hans & Gretel...
Once upon a time, in the heart of Westquay, lived Emily the Good Witch, who used her magic to create tasty treats, pick ‘n’ mix galore and incredible handmade gelato flavours straight out of a storybook!
A new immersive and magical dessert emporium is headed to Westquay. Hans & Gretel opens on Level 2 on Good Friday, April 7.
Stepping into Hans & Gretel dessert emporium feels like stepping into a story book, with the chance to meet some of our famous characters and experience dessert delicacies from all over the world.
On the menu, you’ll find everything from fluffy, cinnamon dusted Chimney Cakes, to candy-floss encased gelato cones.
Tap and Tandoor
Southampton’s first tapas style Indian pub has officially opened at Westquay.
The new gastro pub offers tapas style small plates, traditional Indian food and craft beers in the spot formerly occupied by CAU.
Tap and Tandoor occupies the premises of the former CAU.
The food on offer ranges from home-cooked style curries, mixed grills and tapas options to beer battered bhajis, chicken tikka and seekh kebab.
The family-friendly restaurant also offers large TV screens for sports fans to watch live fixtures.
The kids menu includes a main, like chicken tikka or tarka daal, dessert and drinks, for £6.95.
YO!Sushi
The conveyor belt sushi restaurant is hoping to take the pressure off family weekday dinners and give the kids something to smile about this Easter.
From April 3 to 14, kids eat free all day in their restaurants when dining with a full-paying adult with a minimum £10 spend.
Enjoy your sushi and Japanese hot favourites while your little ones tuck into a kiddo bento boxed absolutely free.
The Real Greek
This delicious Westquay eatery offers free food for your darling little diners on Sundays.
The great offer, which is available to all children under 12, includes a meal from the kids menu, a drink and ice cream or sorbet.
Bill's
Kids eat free is back just in time for Easter!
Up to two kids can eat free all day on weekdays from April 3 to 14, if one adult orders any main dish for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The children’s menu features family favourites including the restaurant's famous buttermilk pancakes, mac & cheese, and fish fingers & chips.
