Even though 2021 is here, the coronavirus pandemic still ongoing, and it’s giving us a feeling of déjà vu. It’s taking a toll on everyone’s mental health, and while running is a helpful stress reliever for many of us, it’s important to take time for emotional health as well.
On February 23, Fitbit announced a partnership with Deepak Chopra, M.D., Founder of The Chopra Foundation to create Deepak Chopra’s Mindful Method, which is a wellness collection created exclusively for Fitbit Premium members.
Fitbit Premium gives members get access to workout plans for any goal, including weekly workouts, guidance for better sleep, nutrition, and now, meditation and mindfulness. (You can access a free 90-day trial here.)
The Mindful Method features audio and video sessions led by Chopra, and is designed to help you with mindfulness, sleep, stress management, mental wellness and the mind-body connection, according to a press release.
The collection launched on February 23 with 10 audio and video sessions, and will eventually feature over 30. Each session is less than 20 minutes, making it a perfect way to take a break from your screen, start your day, or follow a run.
