We are familiar with New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, but this season there's something completely different coming to the fashion calendar.
The four-day event aims to end animal exploitation in the industry by educating fashion lovers about the ethical, social, and environmental issues surrounding the use of animals in the industry.
Emmanuelle Rienda, Vegan Fashion Week founder and animal rights activist, says: “I want to ignite conversations and debates within the industry by educating, elevating and drawing connections between our most important values: our respect for human life, animal rights, and the environment.”
Reinda aims to take the event to other fashion-forward cities in an attempt to make Vegan Fashion Week the standard fashion week in the future.
Vegan Fashion Week takes place during 1-4 February 2019 in Los Angeles.
