Steve Martin has confirmed that Meryl Streep is the latest A-lister to join Only Murders in the Building.
In a tweet posted Tuesday (January 17), Martin offered a sneak peek at the three-time Oscar winner behind the scenes with himself, Martin Short, Selena Gomez and returning guest star Paul Rudd.
"The filming of Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building has begun! A cast to dream of," Martin tweeted.
A tweet from the show's official account confirmed the huge casting: "It is an HONOR to have Meryl in our building!"
The third season of Only Murders in the Building will be a reunion for Martin and Meryl Streep, after they starred together in the hit romantic comedy film It's Complicated.
Marvel star Paul Rudd had previously unveiled a new skunk-like hairstyle to film flashback scenes for Only Murders in the Building, where he will be reprising his role as Charles-Haden Savage's (Martin) Broadway co-star Ben Glenroy.
No spoilers here, but anyone who has seen the second season finale of Only Murders in the Building will know that Rudd's character is set to be a central part of the next mystery.
A third season was announced in July, when Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment boss Craig Erwich announced: "Only Murders in the Building is the true crown jewel of our slate.
"Its appeal across generations, the intersection of humour and heart, and its truly original approach are a hallmark of and testament to Dan, John, Steve, Marty and Selena’s work. We are grateful to be able to continue telling the stories of Charles, Oliver and Mabel to viewers that have consistently shown us they crave more of this story."
In its previous two seasons, Only Murders in the Building has attracted an impressive string of guest stars — including Tina Fey, Amy Schumer, Jane Lynch and Sting.
Only Murders in the Building seasons 1 and 2 are available now on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.
