We are obsessed with H&M's designer collaborations because they unite two of our greatest loves: high-end fashion and affordable price points.

Now, the high street mogul has announced its latest partnership - Mugler x H&M. The collaboration, set to drop May 11, 2023, is anticipated to be one of H&M's best yet.

Plus, just to whet our appetite even more, they've just gone and released the first picture of the range.

The collection, available online and in selected stores this spring, will "encapsulate the unique and vibrant spirit of Mugler," reads the announcement on H&M's site.

"For nearly two decades, H&M has been democratising high-fashion by offering global audiences the chance to own special pieces of high-end designer history."

Looking at the newest image shared by the brand, H&M x Mugler appears to contain iterations of the brand's famous mesh cut-out bodysuit, along with edgy denim pieces in the form of jeans and a cropped bolero jacket, plus "several archival remakes".

H&M's designer collaborations are always instant sell-outs – and undoubtedly the Mugler drop will be no different.

For the past two decades, the Scandi high-street brand has offered its customers the opportunity to own high-end designer pieces at a fraction of the usual price. Previous successful collaborations have been with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Kenzo, Simone Rocha, Versace, Giambattista Vali, Erdem and Isabel Marant.

The legendary French fashion designer Thierry Mugler passed away last January, leaving behind a great legacy in the world of fashion. He often took inspiration from the 1940s and 1950s in his work, which resulted in theatrical, groundbreaking silhouettes with exaggerated shoulders and hips, structured waists and sculptured bodices.
