First look at Four Seasons’ insanely luxurious new private jet, where tickets cost more than £110,000
A luxury hotel brand has unveiled new plans for the most exclusive of private jets – and tickets are likely to cost more than £100,000 per person.
Four Seasons will launch its new service in early 2021, with space to socialise and demonstrations run by the brand’s experts.
Operated on a fully customised Airbus A321LR aircraft, the Four Seasons private jet will have room for just 48 passengers, who can relax in custom, handcrafted seats designed by Optimares, upholstered in leather from Italian producer Poltrona Frau.
Building on the hotel brand’s existing private jet service, key features of the new plane will include a spacious lounge area to encourage socialising between passengers.
Forget binging inflight movies: the lounge will also host a series of interactive workshops. Travellers can meet and learn from Four Seasons master chefs and mixologists, wellness gurus and arts and culture experts.
“When designing the new Four Seasons private jet, we were inspired by the glamour and prestige of air travel in times past, when every flight was a special occasion,” said Dana Kalczak, Four Seasons vice president, design.
“With a laser focus on comfort and functionality, our aim is to create an environment that encourages spontaneous social interaction between everyone on board, reinforcing the power of connection.”
In this spirit, each seat comes with a purpose-built personal ottoman to enable chats between passengers.
Toilets are also being expanded for “added comfort and flexibility”.
Cabin crew aside, the full complement of Four Seasons inflight staff includes an executive chef, concierge, director of guest experience and physician. Annual check-up, anyone?
The current Four Seasons jet service launched in 2015; itineraries for next year include a 24-day trip that takes guests through the Asia, Australasia and the Middle East, before finishing up in Prague and London.
Prices for the adventure start at $147,000 (£114,000) per person.
