These are the first detailed images of a vast theme park planned for Swanscombe in north Kent that will be one of the biggest opened in Europe since Disneyland Paris in 1992.

The London Resort attraction will be spread out over “six lands” — the Studios, the Woods, the Kingdom, the Isles, the Jungle and the Starport — to be built on the 535-acre site.

The park is due to open in 2024.

PY Gerbeau, chief executive of London Resort Company Holdings, said: “We are creating a first-class theme park.

The new park will be the equivalent in size of 136 Wembley Stadiums (Richard Stocks)
