Well, this is it. It's genuinely ending. Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, etc. The final episode of Game of Thrones ever - ever - is about four days away, depending on how early you're willing to get up to watch it over here. An era of television is closing.
The final episode is probably the televisual event of the year and HBO apparently is keen to keep its cards even closer to its jerkin than usual, handing over two measly images. Firstly, there's Daenerys looking triumphantly out at the smoking ruins of King's Landing, which she probably wants to be putting some scaffolding around soonish.
And then there's a very pensive Tyrion. He's spent most of his time in the last couple of seasons looking pretty pensive, but given that this is the big finale he's really gone to town here.
What can we infer? Very little. Very, very little. That's obviously the point. But it does at least reinforce the fact that Daenerys is in charge now, that Cersei's been overthrown, and that the cost of taking the throne is the destruction of the land and people she's meant to be ruling over. Cheery.
