Bury's Gemma Atkinson has launched her podcast – with no topic off limits.
The Overshare podcast will give callers the chance to provide more details about topics that would not be able to be discussed while on her usual Hits Radio show with Mike Toolan.
This includes talking about first dates, big secrets, grief, parenting and more.
According to Planet Radio, the new podcast will feature "some of the most jaw-dropping, tear-jerking stories", and some "proper laugh-out-loud moments".
The idea behind the podcast is to give audiences a safe space to share stories and for Gemma to also share her own.
Taking to her Instagram to share the news, Gemma said: “Episode one of ‘The Overshare’ is finally live, and I couldn’t be more excited to share these incredible stories with you.
“Get ready for an emotional rollercoaster ride and some eye-opening insights.
“Available wherever you get your podcasts.”
Each week the Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary patron will be joined by a guest to talk about personal experiences as they chat through a new topic.
There will be a new episode each Thursday.
Gemma also had a guest appearance this morning, Thursday September 21, on The Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Fleur East, James, and Matt.
Speaking about her new podcast on the show, she said: “It’s what it says on the tin, oversharing.
“We said with the podcast, what if we could get the listeners, the callers on but be able to ask them anything and them overshare with us and vice versa.
“So, it is kind of like a safe space, we have got episodes that are quite serious and heavy and dealing with grief, and we have also done episodes that are out there and like the worst first dates and some of them stories are horrendous but funny.”
