Finally, the mystery is solved. No, not how many hair ties does Ariana Grande have, but how old is Emily Cooper in Emily In Paris?

During the first season of the show, fans were thrown over theories about Emily's age, after it was never actually revealed on screen. In an interview with Vogue, Lily Collins was later asked about the character's age, to which she responded: "I don’t believe we’ve ever given her a specific ‘number’ for her age, but I believe that she’s pretty fresh out of college. Maybe this is her first year after graduation. I want to say she’s like, 22-ish."

Unsurprisingly, we were kind of shocked about this, considering her super successful job and pretty expensive wardrobe, and also the fact we didn't have a clue what to do with ourselves in our early twenties. Seriously?! 22?!

Thankfully, season two of Emily In Paris actually goes on to address how old the marketing executive is, with Emily's friends and Savoir colleagues attending a birthday party in the third episode.

So, drumroll please! It turns out Emily turns 29, so is not quite the fresh-faced graduate Lily Collins had in mind.

In the third episode, Emily and Mindy (played by Ashley Parks) decide to throw a dinner to celebrate her day of birth, and invite Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Camille (Camille Razat) as well as her work friends.

It's the first time Gabriel and Camille have seen each other since their break up - but sadly things don't go *too* smoothly for the birthday girl. Eek.

Emily In Paris season two is now streaming on Netflix.
