From ELLE

Jamie Dornan has reflected on his involvement with the recent all-star 'Imagine' cover, which went on to receive some serious backlash.

Chatting on the Tea with Me podcast, the Fifty Shades of Grey star agreed to do his part in this 'Imagine' movement to cheer everybody up stuck in lockdown, after his pal Kristen Wiig reached out to him.

Discussing its acidic online reception, Jamie said: "I just got dragged along with it."

However, the actor appreciates why so many people quickly turned against it.

"I'll tell you what the problem was, I literally did mine in the toilet of my house. Quite clearly, some people had escaped to their second home," he said.

"There's too much acreage in the background, too many beautiful trees swaying in the background, clearly in front of an ocean, that sort of craic.

"I was quite aware of that whenever I was doing it, to make it normal."

Still, will.i.am hit out at "judgemental" critics of the controversial celebrity cover.

"There's lots of musicians out there in the world that can continue to spread awesome, positive, productive vibes out during these times, and one thing we cannot do when people are trying to uplift everyone's spirit is be judging, right?" he said on Good Morning Britain last month.

"So, the folks who did the rendition of 'Imagine', they were trying to do the best thing they can to lift people's spirits up."
