A women has found a new career as a fertility psychic and now makes up to £10K a month predicting when women will fall pregnant and what gender their unborn baby will be.

Gemma Martin, 31, from Dundee, Scotland uses tarot readings to predict the dates a woman will become pregnant and says she has around an 85% accuracy rate.

The mum-of-one initially learnt to tarot read after struggling to conceive herself and having a fertility psychic correctly predict when she would fall pregnant with her daughter, Abigail, now three.

Martin began offering fertility readings as a hobby until, but it started to become so popular, she decided to launch as a business in April 2019.

By November 2019 it became her full-time job and now she spends her days doing up to 70 readings to help single people and couples find out when they might fall pregnant.

“I predict when people will have a baby and most of the time it’s spot on," Martin explains.

“I might be a few days out, but the number of responses I get saying ‘I fell pregnant when you said I would’ is so lovely."

It was her own experience of having an accurate fertility reading, which prompted Martin to explore the subject further.

“I had a reading which predicted I would fall pregnant in June 2018 after 18 months of trying – and I did," she says.

“I found it so fascinating, so I wanted to learn how to do it myself and help other people.

“I didn’t expect it to ever become my full-time job and be so popular.”

Martin first uncovered psychic fertility prediction after joining a support group for women struggling to conceive.

“I got chatting to the lady who ran it and found out that she was a tarot reader and would predict people’s pregnancy dates,” she says.

“I found it really interesting and asked her to teach me.

“She did my reading as well, which said I’d fall pregnant on 28th June 2018 - and I had a positive test result on the 25th June so she wasn't far off at all.”

After picking up the skills, Martin started doing readings for other women, just as a hobby at first.

“It was just something I did on the side,” she explains.

But as her readings became more popular, she was able to become a sole trader in April 2019 and took it full-time in November 2019.

Martin does tarot readings offering guidance about relationships, but her most popular service is fertility predictions.

"I do a prediction of when they will fall pregnant and often predict the gender as well,” she said.

“It’s not 100% but all my responses are positive.

“I can only look two years ahead so sometimes I have to say that I can’t see it happening in the next few years.

“People can be disheartened when the pregnancy date is further off than they hoped but I reassure them that I can be wrong.”

Martin's services are now so popular she does up to 70 readings a day, consisting of 55 mini readings and 15 detailed readings via email and zoom call.

She charges £18 for a fertility reading and £7 for a gender prediction.

"In recent months the company has taken in around £10K a month," she says. "But this is then split between everyone who works for me and our costs."

Martin says her favourite part of her new career is following the pregnancies of her clients.

"I often get to follow their journeys and see them through the the birth," she says.

"It's an amazing feeling.

“I love doing what I do," she adds.
