The February issue of Prima is out now!Nicky Johnston - Hearst Owned

Don't miss the new February issue of Prima with our cover star, Kym Marsh!

Kym reveals the secret behind making a long-distance marriage work and she candidly opens up about moving forward from loss. To her, she says, family means everything. "They always come first," Kym tells us. "That’s how I was raised and it’s how my children feel, too. We do everything for each other."

The past few months have been a whirlwind for Kym, who, as well as doing Strictly Come Dancing, was filming BBC One series Waterloo Road and co-presenting Morning Live.

Fresh from her Strictly stint, Kym says she's made a friend for life in Graziano: "I call him my little brother, because he’s like this little ball of energy – always so enthusiastic," she says.

The star also chats about her upcoming debut as dinner lady Nicky in Waterloo Road and why she's prepared to challenge herself.

"I want to keep working hard, setting a good example to my kids and spending lots of time with my grandchildren," Kym says. "The past few years have been about setting my sights high and challenging myself – and I’m going to continue to do that."

And Kym isn't the only one being adventurous by setting herself exciting new challenges.
