Fearne Cotton has taken to Instagram to share an inspirational message with her fans from her garden.

The television presenter and founder of Happy Place shared her feelings about finding balance and eliminating negative thoughts. "You know those mornings where you wake up and your mental demons are yapping at your ankles," she shared. "That’s how I felt for the first two hours of today. Things from the past shouting in my head with self loathing following closely behind. The thing I’m noticing these days is that I can turn it around quicker. Previously I might lose a whole week to this feeling, or at my worst, months. With all I’ve learned from the incredible people I get to work with on my podcast and books, I’m able to move through that murkiness to get back some balance."

Fearne continued to share the things she was feeling "sunny" about, including the weather, being "7k words away from finishing my new book" and "looking forward to half term adventures with the kids."

Alongside her thought-provoking caption, Fearne shared an image of herself stretching at her laptop. She looked just gorgeous in a John Lewis x La Galeria Elefante dress that is just perfect for the warmer weather she is loving. We adore the vibrant, paisley print and the smock style will look great on anyone. If you're looking to add a little colour to your summer wardrobe to help lift your spirits, this is a seriously stylish option.

Fearne's message is so inspiring and we could certainly all learn a thing or two from her.
