Fearne Cotton has revealed her latest hair transformation, sharing a snap of her look on Instagram on Thursday (5 January).
Fearne has opted for a long bob style haircut with a choppy fringe which she explained was inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer's famous look in the movie Scarface and Suki Waterhouse.
In a caption alongside the photo, Fearne said that, "For the first since my teen years I took photos into the hair dressers."
She thanked her hair dresser "for not drawing attention to the fact that I am not a young, super cool rock star actor, nor in an 80's film and for agreeing to cut a fringe."
While Fearne seemed pleased with her new look, she wasn't sure everyone would feel the same, admitting, "My kids will no doubt hate it."
Despite what others might think, she said she loves "changing things up and pretending I'm a new person for a bit. Bring on the fringes."
Many of Fearne's followers and famous friends seemed to like her new look, with many taking to the comments to share their thoughts.
Davina McCall wrote, "This is amazing," while The One Show's Alex Jones Thomson said, "I love it!"
The next morning (Friday 6 January) Fearne shared an honest selfie saying, "Barnet not looking quite so swish this morning," after a night of very little sleep.
Despite a difficult night, Fearne was positive about tackling her insomnia saying, "The work is now and forever, and rather than feeling daunted by that I feel excited to see where it takes me."
