'Coronation Street' star Faye Brookes denies new relationship rumours following Gareth Gate split
Coronation Street actor Faye Brookes has finally broken her silence following the news that she and fiancé Gareth Gates have separated, as she denies rumours that she’s in a new relationship.
After only posting a series of motivational quotes across her social media channels, the 31-year-old took to Twitter to share that “it’s been a really weird week.”

She went on to explain that she’s turned to exercising as a means to distract herself from what’s going on in her personal life, before addressing fans’ theories that she’s seeing someone new because she was photographed going for a work out with a mystery man.
“I’ve been throwing myself into the gym pretty much everyday, anyone who knows me knows how much I love training and keeping fit,” Brookes - who plays Kate Connor on the long-running ITV soap - explained.

“It’s great for your physical and mental health. I’m a member of several gyms in Manchester including the fab Barry’s Bootcamp.
'So (yesterday) there was a pap outside the gym when I got there, taking pictures of me & getting very excited with his camera because I walked in with one of the trainers from the gym – who is a friend.
“Just let a girl be, please,” she concluded.

Brooks and Pop Idol star Gates met while working on Legally Blonde: The Musical together in 2012.
They split in September 2018, before rekindling their romance and announcing their engagement in January 2019. Their representatives announced that the couple had officially called off their future wedding and parted ways on 14 August.
"In the end [Faye] called things off but he knew it was coming,” a source previously told The Sun. “Gareth was desperate to manage her and take charge of her career but she really wasn't keen on the idea.
"His want to manage her started to really raise questions and red flags for her."
