Father of Twin Page Boys Who Stole the Show at Royal Wedding Reveals Behind-the-Scenes Secrets
The father of the 7-year-old twin page boys Brian and John Mulroney is dishing on the royal wedding, nearly a week after his sons stole hearts around the world as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry married.
The twin boys’ father, Ben Mulroney, a Canadian television host, is speaking out about what really happened behind the scenes on his CTV show eTalk.
“There had been so much talk about getting it right with the rehearsals and these kids are so young that there was a lot of worry that it wouldn’t get done right,” he explains. “But, they’re having so much fun with it, and that, to me, gave me the most pride.”
Mulroney said he missed the adorable moment when young Brian began beaming at the bride, but he knows the story behind it.
"I didn’t see it until I got home because we didn’t have our phones with us," said Mulroney, the son of a former Canadian Prime Minister. “I asked him, and he said he had never heard a trumpet before.”
