While clothes may look gorgeous on shops adverts and websites, there's something about seeing it in action, and part of a real woman's day, that really brings clothing to life and helps you figure out if it's right for you.

Boden shared a pic of blogger @InMySundayBest, wearing the Abigail Jersey Dress in black confetti print (currently on sale) and fans of the brand are loving it, calling the look, "completely gorgeous in every single way".

Sade (@InMySundayBest), a Senior Architectural Designer by trade, said of the dress: "Have you ever found a dress that’s just... YOU? This Abigail dress right here, is essentially me in an outfit. From the subtle confetti print, to the easy to wear cut and of course - pockets."

Currently reduced to £52, she certainly looked lovely in the delicately printed number, and any dress with pockets immediately scores brownie points with us.

Not to mention, if an architectural designer is complementing the cut... it's probably pretty impressive.

The subtle boat neckline gives the coverage and comfort of a high neck but elegantly. Finishing just above the knee on the model, for those of us who aren't 6ft tall it's a flattering knee or just below length, an easy-to-wear modest look that is still fresh and stylish.

If you're sold on the cut but the prints not quite for you, how about a lovely post box red? This one's an even better save, down to £45.50.

The dress comes in a total of 12 prints and colourways, so there's something for everyone and the long sleeves make it a perfect transitional spring piece, to wear with thick tights and a chunky cardigan on cooler days or pair with a light jacket and ankle boots, when the sun comes out.

The much-loved Boden dress is available online now in sizes 6 to 22.
