If it wasn't the most hotly anticipated British fashion event of the year already, it definitely is in 2021, following a year's hiatus for just about every kind of red carpet, high-fashion occasion.

For The Fashion Awards 2021 - this year presented by TikTok - the global glitterati will once again be gracing London's Royal Albert Hall in some of the most supremely exciting looks you'll ever see mingling at the same event.

Taking place on Monday, November 29, The British Fashion Council will celebrate a year of momentous change in the industry. With lockdowns and social distancing pushing creators to imagine ever more innovative ways of bringing style and design to hungry eyes. We've seen incredible progress in digital experiences, plus IRL catwalks that have taken restrictions on space and capacity and turned them into an occasion for new show arenas and, in some cases, a different kind of spectacle altogether.

Recognising all of this, the event will expand its global reach with a new creative approach and goals for the future, while celebrating this year’s leaders who are changing the industry, as well as fashion’s global impact and its role at the intersection of culture.

Who Will Be The Host?

The British Fashion Council has revealed that this year's awards host is to be none other than Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award-winning actor, singer, director, composer and playwright Billy Porter.

So beyond theatrics and witty repartee, you can also expect to see some BIG outfits. Think hats, circle skirts, feathers and more.

Experience The Event Live On TikTok

It has been announced that TikTok is the principal partner for this year's Fashion Awards. Considering the fashion obsessive community that exists on the social media platform, the partnership is only fitting.

And the best thing about TikTok's sponsorship of the event is that every effort will be made to broadcast the best (and most exclusive) bits of the ceremony to the awaiting TikTok audience, live.

The Fashion Awards Red Carpet LIVE will be broadcast on the newly launched Fashion Awards TikTok account - follow @thefashionawards and #FashionAwards on TikTok for news, updates and all of the evening's major highlights.

Some of the biggest TikTok Creators will also be posting from the backstage area, offering access to the winners, presenters and (best of all) close-ups of some of the outfits.
