Fans think Kanye West hints he was unfaithful to Kim Kardashian on new song
After Kim Kardashian attended Kanye West's listening party in a wedding dress, the former couple have made headlines again with fans now thinking the rapper admitted to cheating on Kim in new lyrics.
44-year-old Kanye's long-awaited album, DONDA, dropped on Sunday [29 August 2021], and some listeners have taken to social media to pick apart the lyrics and their meanings. One line in particular from 'Hurricane' has grabbed fans' attention.
In it, some think Kanye suggests he was unfaithful to Kim during their relationship, after the pair had welcomed their first two children - North, now eight, and Saint, now five.
The lyrics (via Page Six), read:
"Here I go actin’ too rich / Here I go with a new chick / And I know what the truth is / Still playin’ after two kids / It’s a lot to digest when your life always movin’."
A source added to PEOPLE that this is "in a way [Kanye's] testimony of everything he did wrong and his apology and taking accountability."
Kim and Kanye started dating in 2012 and tied the knot in May 2014 in a lavish ceremony in Italy. In February 2021, Kim officially filed a divorce petition, wit hTMZ reporting the reality star asked for joint legal and physical custody of their four kids, North, Saint, Chicago, three, and Psalm, one.
