After a tough month for the royal family, with the death of Prince Philip on 9th April, there have been a string of birthdays, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 10 year wedding anniversary (29th April) to add some joy back into proceedings.
The Queen's birthday took place on 21st April, followed shortly by Prince Louis' third birthday a few days later on 23rd April, and finally Princess Charlotte celebrated turning six on the 2nd of May.

As she did for Louis and George's birthday, Kate Middleton shared a photo she took herself, to mark her young daughter's birthday.
The previously unseen photo, shared by @TheRoyalFamily Instagram account, shows Charlotte smiling and wearing a floral-patterned dress and is captioned: 'Wishing Princess Charlotte a very happy sixth birthday today. 🎈'
Royal fans were quick to share their birthday wishes under the photo. But followers also noticed in the days following Charlotte's birthday that Prince William and Kate Middleton's second child looks a lot like her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The discussion first kicked off when one person wrote: 'She looks like Queen Elizabeth' under the post. Almost 6,000 people have since liked the comment, while others chimed in with: 'She looks so much like the queen!' and a further person noted, 'Looks so much like the queen, her great grandma! ❤️'.
Over on Twitter, the comments were pretty similar too. 'Even though Princess Charlotte looks like William in his photos as a child, she is Queen Elizabeth’s mini me 😍,' one wrote, even sharing a side-by-side image of Her Majesty and little Charlotte.
Many people felt that, when compared to photos of the Queen in her infancy, the similarities were uncanny.
