Prince Harry has been branded a "gentleman" by royal fans after they spotted him opening a car door for Meghan Markle. The couple had joined the newly appointed Prince and Princess of Wales to meet mourners at Windsor Castle on Saturday who had gathered to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.

During the nearly hour-long appearance, the newly-appointed Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex read through tributes left by the public for Her Majesty, and took a moment to listen to the grief of mourners. The appearance marked the first time that the foursome have been seen together in public since Her Majesty's death.

The heartwarming scene was captured on social media, with royal expert Omid Scobie sharing a clip to his own Twitter account. "After chatting, hugging and sharing sympathies with members of the public for over 40 minutes, the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have headed back into the Windsor Estate together. Both couples left in the same car, driven by William," Scobie tweeted alongside a video.

And it was the final moments of said video that really got fans talking, with plenty pointing out the romantic gesture Prince Harry made towards his wife. "Harry escorted Meghan, opened her door, waited til she was seated and closed her door BEFORE he went around to enter," one observer pointed out, as someone else added: "Awww he got the door for her. They are just so sweet together!"

A third royal fan chimed into the conversation with, "Prince Harry is so caring!", as a fourth tweeted: "Harry always the gentleman! Loved that he opened the door for Meghan."

Elsewhere, fans commented on how lovely it was to see the foursome reunited, with many commending the family for coming together during such tough times. "I felt so emotional and I felt the Queen would have loved it," a royal fan who was at Windsor told The Independent. "I just hope in the future they remain like that and that the brothers come together, and the families."
