Little Mix fans are pretty eagle-eyed when it comes to picking up things about the band, and after speculating about tension in a 2018 interview clip, Mixers are now saying a second video shows previous problems.

Back in December 2020, Jesy Nelson left the group, and Little Mix became Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards.

After Jesy released her first solo single 'Boyz' in October, the ex-girlband member was hit with accusations of Blackfishing (wherein a person who isn't Black benefits and profits from adopting aspects of Black culture, or by altering their appearance to mimic Black characteristics e.g. by darkening their skin.)

Since then, her collaborator Nicki Minaj has publicly criticised Leigh-Anne, with 30-year-old Leigh later using her birthday speech to defend herself and her character.

Now, Little Mix fans are wondering whether tensions in the band have been bubbling for a while, after rewatching old interview clips. In one from the Global Awards back in 2018, Perrie appears to roll her eyes at Jesy.

In the latest clip, fans have questioned whether there's tension between Jade and Perrie and Jade, after she looks particularly downcast and uninterested in the interview questions.

The comments for the video are now turned off, but fans have been speculating about a potential 'rift' for some time - something which Perrie and Jade actually addressed back in 2019.

"Do you know what, we’ve always had rumours in the past eight years," Perrie told Daily Star, to which Jade insisted, "We literally never fight. We’re really boring when it comes to that."

Let's hope the girls can get back to that mentality soon.
