Fans all have the same question about Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker at the Oscars
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are an IT couple right now, but that didn't stop fans questioning exactly why they were at the 2022 Academy Awards.
The couple, who appear in the new series of The Kardashians, have been together for over a year, after first sparking dating rumours in January 2021. Since announcing their engagement in October 2021, fans have seen the pair go from strength to strength, even revealing they were trying for a baby.
More recently, the pair attended the Oscars, walking the red carpet in an elevated pop-punk all-black look. Kourtney wore a strapless midi dress, while the Blink-182 drummer wore a black round neck top and double breasted blazer with matching trousers.
While there's no doubt they look exceptional (and pushed the boundaries with their PDA, as usual), many fans couldn't work out why they were at an awards ceremony that celebrates the film industry.
"Why are Travis and Kourtney there," one person wrote, while another put, "Okay why would the Oscars invite Kourtney and Travis but not Richard Madden? That man is in town."
Someone else put, "I’m so confused…why are Kourtney & Travis at The Oscars? Maybe they were plus ones for other guests."

All was revealed later, when Travis took to the stage to perform in the All-Star Band (who knew that was a thing) alongside Robert Glasper, Sheila E., and music director Adam Blackstone.
So that answers that one, then.
