Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star, Kiernan Shipka, practically broke the internet this weekend when she announced via Instagram that she'd be reprising her role in Riverdale season six.

Alongside a photo of her character Sabrina on the set of Riverdale, Kiernan told her 8.1 million followers: "From Greendale to Riverdale. See u [sic] in Season 6." Understandably, fans of both shows were pretty darn excited by the news, and took to the comments section to let the star know about it.

But, some fans (read: a lot) were confused about how exactly Sabrina could feature in the upcoming season of Riverdale, because – MAJOR SPOILER ALERT – she died in the final episode of CAOS. Yep, kinda hard to come back from that one, right? Well, in Netflix land, apparently not.

"I just remembered that Sabrina is dead….how they gonna explain this," said one fan, while another viewer wrote "But … wasn't Sabrina like… dead?"

Here's a few more reactions to the news...

Kiernan is set to reprise her role in episode four of the season, appropriately titled "The Witching Hour(s)." In the ep, she'll team up with Cheryl Blossom, played by Madelaine Petsch, as she attempts to perform a dangerous spell to save a family member.

Speaking about the crossover, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told Entertainment Tonight: "We've been talking about having Sabrina visit Riverdale since season one, so it's thrilling that this is finally happening, as part of our Rivervale special event."

He continued, "It's also perfect that she shows up to help Cheryl Blossom during her hour of greatest need. Everyone on set lost their minds — I think fans will, too. It's really fun and special."

Plot holes or no plot holes, we'll still be watching.
