Kate Middleton and Prince William went to the Bahamas during their Caribbean royal tour in March.

Now, an intimate moment between the pair during their stay in the country has gone viral on TikTok.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were filmed putting on a rare public display of affection as they walked through their hotel.

Jimmy Rex from the US captured the moment, which saw them holding hands, and many eagle-eyed fans have reacted to the footage.

Rex wrote in an accompanying message: 'The couple staying at my hotel in the Bahamas over the weekend had 35 security guards!'

One person commented: 'What a couple,' and another gushed: 'Aww they look so relaxed [sic].'

A third fan remarked: 'Lovely to see them holding hands [sic].'

There was even a reference to Middleton's future, with someone writing: 'If anyone was destined to be a queen it was Kate [sic].'

During the royal couple's eight-day tour, their three children - Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, seven and Prince Louis, four - were staying in the UK with their nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.

She's worked for the couple since Prince George was a baby.

This isn't the only time fans have reacted to footage of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge from their tour.

On day two, they were captured dancing in Belize, as part of the Garifuna festival.

Of the time, local organiser Laura Cacho, 57 said: 'They were shaking their waists like nobody's business.'

Cacho added: '[Prince William] shook his waist to the music. He had beautiful rhythm. It was a pleasure for me.

'Kate was excellent as well and definitely has Garifuna culture in her.'

The couple themselves posted the video clip to their official Instagram account, with the caption: 'Wow! What a welcome.

'It was a privilege to spend time with the Garifuna community and experience some of their traditions, here in Hopkins.

'Thank you Mama G for hosting such a special event!'

And it prompted a wealth of commentary from royal fans, including one person who wrote: 'I absolutely loved to see you two dancing.. it was clear you enjoyed it a lot. You made a lot of people smile (me included!) [sic].'

Another wrote: 'Wonderful Prince and Princess! Hope im around to see them become King and Queen. Diana would be so proud [sic].'

A third quipped: 'Shakira - hips don’t lie [sic].'

Middleton and Prince William recently focused on mental health engagements amid Mental Health Awareness Week, which involved visiting St John's Primary School in Port Glasgow.

During the trip, the duke quipped: 'Can you get my wife out of here before she gets broody?'

This came after a similar comment from the Duke when they visited Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire, following Middleton having previously admitting to being 'broody'.

The couple will be celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June, after they were reported to be moving to Windsor to be closer to the 96-year-old monarch.
