Fans praise Jessica Simpson for showing off her heavily pregnant body in a bikini: 'Always keeping it real'
In early March, following her fourth bout of bronchitis in two months, Jessica Simpson told fans she was “counting the days” until the birth of her third child, a baby girl she and husband Eric Johnson plan to name Birdie.

Two weeks later … she’s still counting down those days.
While her new daughter has yet to arrive, the pregnant star at least has a sense of humor about being in maternity mode. On Monday night she joked about her “Jess-tation” (gestation? get it?) as she posted a photo of herself in a bikini, her blooming bump on full display.

“Oh, dear,” cracked Chelsea Handler, while reality star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who is also pregnant, wrote “girl same.”
If Simpson is feeling impatient, it’s nothing compared to her followers, many of whom left comments like “You’re still pregnant?!” and “How many kids you got in [there]?”
“I feel like Jessica’s pregnancies are like 15 months long,” read one comment. “They seem so much longer than other celebrities’. Luckily she radiates like the beautiful person she is.”
“Waiting for Jessica to give birth is like waiting for April the giraffe to give birth,” joked a fan.
“She seems like she’s been preggo forever,” one person wrote. “Poor girl.”
Jokes aside, fans were mostly charmed by the photo, and praised the 38-year-old for being honest about the realities of pregnancy. Indeed, the former pop star showed off her swollen feet earlier this year.

Simpson and her former NFL player husband are also parents to 6-year-old daughter Maxwell Drew and 5-year-old son Ace Knute.
