Sofia Vergara’s Instagram account has turned into a Modern Family reunion fan page over the past 24 hours. The cast of the ABC sitcom, which premiered in 2009, reunited for the first time since the show aired its finale in 2020. The series, created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, is set in the Los Angeles suburbs and follows the lives of the three diverse and related families.

Vergara, who played Colombian-born model and real estate agent Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, shared a ton of selfies and photos from the sweet celebration. Her character was married to Jay Pritchett, played by Ed O'Neill, the father and grandfather of the Pritchett family tree.

“It’s going to be very sad for all of us to finish a show that has been so good to us. We’ve had the best schedule, we’ve had the best people working on the show, it’s been a dream job, I think, for all of us,” Vergara said in 2019. “It’s sometimes once in a lifetime for an actor to find a show as amazing as Modern Family.”

“First Modern Family reunion!!!!❤️❤️❤️,” the 51-year-old captioned the first Instagram post of many, which she shared with her 31.8 million followers.

Julie Bowen (Claire Dunphy) Sarah Hyland (Haley Dunphy), Eric Stonestreet (Cameron Tucker), Nolan Gould (Luke Dunphy), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitchell Pritchett), Ariel Winter (Alex Dunphy), Rico Rodriguez (Manny Delgado) and Aubrey Anderson (Lily Tucker-Pritchett) also attended the reunion. Fans were quick to notice that Ty Burrell, who played Phil Dunphy, wasn’t at the event. The cast held a hilarious photo of him and recorded a video screaming, “We miss you, Ty.”

“So lucky to have worked with this people for 11 years❤️. I love and miss u all guys!!! #modernfamily,” Vergara captioned another carousel.

“Thanks for hosting Sofia!!!! Love you,” Ferguson commented

“I don’t think that’s ever going to happen again now in television, you know? Because people want, like, things fast and they wanna move on so fast,” Vergara told Cosmopolitan about the show’s 11-season run. “It was so special for us.”
