Most people don’t claim to look their best at 5:30 a.m., but Jennifer Garner, of course, manages to pull it off. The actress is back on set for her latest gig—the Apple series The Last Thing He Told Me—and in a recent Instagram video, she gave fans a peek into her getting ready process, starting with a glowing, fresh makeup-free face and hair fresh out of the shower.
'They have their work cut out for them,' she said to the camera, referring to the hair and makeup team. 'Watch the magicians do their magic.'
Before arriving at the trailer, the 50-year-old said she used Virtue Full Shampoo and Conditioner, and her stylists went in with the brand’s 6-in-1 Styler while she enjoyed her 'favourite' morning pick-me-up, black coffee. Next up was Frizz Block, 'an absolute must for summer.' She added that, 'if you have a blow dry,' it lasts for up to 72 hours. After stylists curled and set her hair, they went in with a 'hero product' and 'favourite' for Garner, the Virtue Healing Oil.
'What a difference a little Virtue makes!' she said, revealing her final look. 'Yay! Ready to work.'
Of course, Garner’s made-up hair and skin looked gorgeous, but fans were just as, if not more obsessed with, her makeup-free complexion.
'So beautiful and natural. You will always be one of our favourite actresses ❤️,' one person commented. 'You are a natural beauty and I love your positive energy!” another added. “So beautiful with and without makeup,' someone else wrote.
Garner’s most recent film, The Adam Project, was a huge success, and by the looks of her comments section, fans are stoked to see The Last Thing He Told Me, which is based on a best-selling novel by Laura Dave. According to Variety, Garner will executive produce and star in the series, which follows a woman who forms an unexpected relationship with her sixteen-year-old stepdaughter while searching for the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared.
There’s no release date yet, but we’re keeping our eyes peeled—the more Garner on our screens, the better!
