After Victoria Beckham posted a photo of her wearing the slinkiest emerald dress on Instagram, fans couldn't help but think they'd see a similar design somewhere before. The photo shows Victoria leaning on the counter of an Art Deco bar, with her back to the camera showing off the backless detailing of the dress.

VB's high-glamour gown is from her Resort 2022 collection (Look 23) and fans were quick to comment on its similarity to the iconic green dress worn by Keira Knightley in Atonement, which was designed by Jacqueline Durran.

One fan commented, "I can't think of what this reminds me of. I think it's a movie but I can't think what," while another fan simply commented, "Atonement dress 🍀🍀🍀🍀," and another wrote, "Looks like the dress Keira Knightley wears in Attonement [sic]."

Victoria captioned the post, "Cheeky Posh," which – incidentally – is the name of Victoria Beckham Beauty's new cream blush. Let's take a look:

And here's the slip worn by Keira in Atonement:

The green satin dress is one of the most memorable movie costumes of all time. It is worn by Keira's character Cecilia when she and Robbie (played by James McAvoy) embrace in *that* library scene. The rich green colour is also thought to represent the envy felt by Cecilia's sister, Briony, who believes she's in love with Robbie. In fact, the dress even earned Jacqueline Durran – the film's costume designer – an Oscar nomination.

The colour green is definitely experiencing a resurgence of late, with Dua Lipa and North West both debuting strong looks in neon green cow print. And we're not even mad about it:

When you think about it, green is a very festive colour... Too soon to start shopping for the Christmas work do?
