It's no secret that the 25-year-old runway model has a quirky and unique taste in interiors. Last summer, she showed off the makeover of her New York home, which is decked out with plenty of lavish pieces and individual designs, such as colourful pasta-filled cupboards and one-off wall art.
But this time it's her bathroom (or 'powder room' as she calls it) that's caught fans attention, thanks to the quirky design. Gigi has chosen to have the bathroom kitted out in New Yorker magazine covers as opposed to wallpaper or paint.
'Used to dream about making this New Yorker powder room,' she wrote to her Instagram followers. And while it's no doubt very cool, fans have a lot to say about the wall design - namely questioning why the model has picked the publication in particular.
One wrote, 'Still coming to terms with Gigi Hadid’s bathroom being wallpapered with New Yorker covers,' while another added, 'Gigi Hadid having a New Yorker lined bathroom is SENDING me.' Someone else put, 'no thoughts just @GiGiHadid's New Yorker powder room.'
So long as Gigi likes it, that's the main thing.
Sharing pictures of her apartment on Instagram last year, the model wrote, 'Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot,' she wrote to her 55.3million followers. 'Of course it all came together right before quarantining out of the city....'
She added: 'But I’m excited for the time I’ll get to spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with a lil help from some of my favourite creatives (tap!) who embraced my ideas and didn’t call me crazy. 💛 ++ my mamma:) who is the greatest homemaking-sounding-board I could ask for (she called me crazy when required) ☺️ grateful to and for all.'
Hope baby Khai is settling in well.
