BBC's The Capture *finally* dropped a second series at the end of last month, and it's safe to say, we were hooked. For those who haven't seen the first season of the mystery thriller series yet, it basically follows an ambitious young DCI trying to navigate the world of deepfake technology during the aftermath of a television hack. But for those that have watched series one, you're going to want to grab some snacks, get in your comfies and binge the next four eps, ASAP. Those orders aren't just coming from us either, they're from the whole of Twitter, too, as everyone is saying the exact same thing about the latest release - that it's absolutely gripping.
Taking to the social media platform to rave about the new episodes, one fan commended the team behind the hit series, writing: "Now this is how you do TV well done to the @BBCOne for this, it’s incredible #TheCapture," as another said: "Seriouslyyyyyy how good is #TheCapture."

One viewer even addressed the classic second series pressure, expressing how they thought it was even better than the first. "Such a great, gripping series #TheCapture @BBCOne - even better than the first one," the fan wrote, as someone else said: "Absolutely loving #TheCapture. Best thing on TV in ages. Edge of your seat stuff. Brilliant."

While there are only four episodes to get through, each is 59 minutes long, which means you've got a solid four hours of incredible TV to consume. Plus, when you're done and don't know what to do with yourself, you'll be able to join in with the Twitter chat for emotional support. Trust, chatting about your fave show with people online makes coming to the end of an epic series that much easier.
The Capture is available on BBC iPlayer now.
