Last night's episode of Love Island was full of surprises, but the one thing fans couldn't stop talking about was bombshell Rachel's culinary blunder during her conversation with Brad, if you can believe it.

The new episode (4th July) saw the latest bombshell Rachel Finni join the show after the second recoupling, meaning Rachel came straight in to the choice between Brad McClelland and Chuggs Wallis (more on that later).

She spent some time getting to know then prior to making her choice and during her conversation with Brad the pair started chatting about cooking, with Rachel telling Brad she is "a really good cook".

Naturally, the conversation got onto coq au vin (doesn't it always?) and Rachel was pretty surprised to discover that Brad didn't know what a coq au vin actually was, and told him it's "duck with wine."

This then prompted quite the fallout on Twitter with fans quick to point out that coq au vin is actually chicken cooked in wine, not duck. How did this become the most dramatic part of Love Island 2021?

I mean, fair play to Rachel, this is the definition of saying it with confidence.

Meanwhile other fans were left pretty unhappy with the episode after it ended on yet another cliffhanger, with Rachel yet to reveal whether she had chosen Brad or Chuggs.
