Who is in and who is out of Taylor Swift’s squad has attracted plenty of attention over the years. The ‘Shake It Off’ singer makes no secret of who her pals are, posting pictures with them online, featuring them in her videos and bringing them to her tours. Here are Taylor’s 10 most famous fans…

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have been best friends for years and it’s all thanks to The Jonas Brothers. The singers met when Selena was dating Nick and Taylor was seeing Joe in 2008, but they have stuck together through everything. In August, the former Disney star revealed that she would love to collaborate with her best friend in the studio: "I’ll say there’s a few artists for sure, but I’ve always dreamt of doing a song with Taylor. I mean, we both wanted to do that. I’ve known her for 13 or 14 years now. So she’s been my best friend. But we’ve talked about it for sure.”

Emma Stone has been one of Taylor’s biggest supporters from the very start. The girls first met at the Young Hollywood Awards and became inseparable. Emma even took TayTay to the ‘Easy A’ premiere as her plus one, and Taylor said in 2011: “My friends are amazing and I'm so thankful to have them, [but] the ones that are like sisters to me are Selena Gomez and Emma Stone ... They can predict my thoughts; I've known them for so long it's really cool to have friends that are that close.”

Lena Dunham have been friends for years and the ‘Girls’ actress has even appeared on stage during Taylor’s ‘Reputation’ tour and in her ‘Bad Blood’ music video. Their respect for one another is mutual too. Lena tweeted about the pop star: “If she’d been here when I was in college, I would have written papers on her, not Sylvia Plath.” Lena’s kind words prompted Taylor to reply “You made my day with that. I’m now going to sit in my dressing room reciting my fav @girlsHBO quotes Which is all of them.”

Kendrick Lamar is full of admiration for Taylor’s work and enjoyed collaborating with her for the award-winning hit ‘Bad Blood’. On recording the single, the rapper said: “She had the music up and I started writing and jumped in the booth and we laid it down. Fortunately the vibe was right and it didn't take too many takes and we was really locked in on the chemistry and we really felt what was going on.”

Katy and Taylor’s feud in former years is well and truly over, despite being so entrenched that Taylor allegedly wrote ‘Bad Blood’ about her pop rival. The ‘Firework’ singer sent Swift a real olive branch to make amends in 2018 and not long later, the pop princesses appeared together dressed as a burger and as fries in Taylor’s ‘You Need to Calm Down’ music video. Katy revealed in February that the bitterness is all in the past and she loved Taylor’s ‘Miss Americana’ documentary. She said: "We don’t have a very close relationship because we are very busy, but we text a lot. I was impressed by her documentary because I saw some self-awareness starting to happen and I saw a lot of vulnerability.”

Nina Nesbitt recently posted a photo of herself wearing a cardigan sent by the ‘Love Story’ singer. Taylor sent a cardigan inspired by the single of the same name from her latest album ‘Folklore’. The Scottish singer thanked her pal for the special gift, writing on Instagram: “Thank you @taylorswift for this cozy gift and for being such a support on my last album. I will forever be inspired by you! Folklore is my favourite one yet … the lyrics are so beautiful and I love the new sound.”

Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift have been friends since they collaborated on ‘Everything Has Changed’ in 2012 and then toured together in support of TayTay’s ‘Red’ album. From there, their friendship has gone from strength-to-strength. The ‘Castle on the Hill’ singer said: “She would be there if everything ended for me. Taylor is kind of an anomaly in that sense.” It seems Taylor has similar feelings, as she said of Ed: “We’ve gotten matching Scottish folds, made each other arts and crafts Christmas presents, vacationed with our families, and had each other’s backs.
