This familiar face is returning to the Great Pottery Throw Down studio
We love the Great Pottery Throw Down and can't wait for it to be back on our screens for a new series. And now there'll be a familiar face to look out for, as one of last year's contestants is returning to the show.
Princess, who competed in series 7 of the Throw Down, will be returning to the show as the kiln technician, replacing previous technician Rose.
She'll be working in the pottery studio, helping to fire each of the contestants' creations in the challenges set by judges Rich Miller and Keith Brymer Jones.
The news was announced on the Great Pottery Throw Down Instagram page, with a picture of judges Keith and Rich, presenter Siobhan McSweeney and new kiln technician Princess.
Alongside the picture, the caption said: "We’re thrilled to welcome Princess back to The Great Pottery Throw Down as our new kiln technician. Princess joined us as a potter last series and has bags of experience as a studio technician and a very special way with clay".
Fans were quick to share how excited they were to hear that Princess is joining the show, with @adamceramic commenting "Congratulations Princess. Can't wait to see what you all make" and @doriscog commenting "Can't wait for the new season. Welcome and good luck to Princess and to Rose, all the best for whatever you do".
We can't wait for the new series!
Series 3-7 of the Great Pottery Throw Down are available to stream on Channel 4.
