THE HAGUE, SOUTH HOLLAND, NETHERLANDS - 2020/09/01: An XR activist holding a big eye placard close to a tree during the demonstration. The climate activist group, Extinction Rebellion in The Netherlands has planned a new campaign called 'September Rebellion' to draw attention to the climate and ecological crisis. The actions will start in The Hague and later this month continue to Amsterdam. Due to a large number of registrations, the legal demonstration was moved to the Hofvijver, close to the square where the House of Parliament is located. Here, hundreds of XR activists demonstrated peacefully with speeches from several climate groups, demanding that the government let citizens decide on a fair climate policy by forming a Citizens' Council.
