EXCLUSIVE: Agua by Agua Bendita Launches First Collaboration With Escvdo
Agua by Agua Bendita and Peruvian sustainable luxury brand Escvdo will release their first fall collaboration on Tuesday. The collection features seven pieces and is being sold at Agua by Agua Bendita’s stores, Net-a-porter, Revolve and Harrods.
“As Latin American brands, Agua and Escvdo speak a common language through our textile heritage and celebrate nature through its colors, shapes and textures, which translates perfectly within the capsule,” Escvdo founder Chiara Macchiavello told WWD.

Although the two companies had crossed paths during a showroom in Paris in 2019, this is the first official collaboration between the Latin American brands.
“We blended the essence of Agua with Escvdo’s artisanal roots, creating a harmonious fusion of handmade legacies that led to this extraordinary collaboration. By focusing on floral motifs and intricate appliqué, we seamlessly wove these details into our knitwear while staying true to the elegance and timelessness of both our brands,” said Mariana Hinestroza and Catalina Álvarez, founders of Agua by Agua Bendita.
Hinestroza and Álvarez said the collaboration goes farther than the design itself. “We have three main objectives with this collaboration: shining a light on Latin American creativity, an exchange of knowledge and exploring new business horizons.”
“Agua by Agua Bendita has been a trailblazer in the resortwear space, and it’s this focus that has brought us to where we are today. Resortwear will continue to be a significant part of our brand’s identity and future. However, as we evolve, our ambition is to become an international brand that resonates with our audience all year round. To achieve this, we recognize the importance of diversifying our collections. Knitwear is a pivotal category that will allow us to introduce Agua into the fall/winter season, ensuring our relevance across all seasons and markets,” they added.
Prices range from $675 to $1,500 and all pieces are made from 100 percent baby alpaca wool sourced in Peru. The editorial was also shot in Arequipa, Peru, which is known for its landscapes, local artisans, traditional techniques and the presence of alpacas.
